Abstract
Un sistema y un método para aplicar impulsos de energía periódicos a una parte de un pozo, una o varias fracturas y/o una zona cercana a un pozo para investigar y/o estimular al menos una parte del pozo, la o las fracturas y/o la zona cercana al pozo. El sistema incluye un dispositivo de fondo de pozo configurado para suministrar impulsos de energía periódicos a una parte del pozo. El dispositivo de fondo de pozo puede suministrar varios impulsos de energía, como ondas de presión, ondas sísmicas y/u ondas acústicas. Los sensores pueden determinar las propiedades de una parte del pozo y/o fractura en base a los impulsos de energía detectados dentro del pozo. Los sensores pueden estar conectados a una herramienta de fondo de pozo y ubicarse dentro del pozo y/o en la superficie. La magnitud y/o la frecuencia de los impulsos de energía periódicos pueden modificarse para cambiar la estimulación y/o la investigación del pozo.
