Abstract
La invención hace referencia al campo de las instalaciones metalúrgicas, concretamente a un laminador con una zona de refrigeración para refrigerar y con una cizalla para el corte transversal de bandas de metal, preferentemente de acero. El objeto de la invención consiste en crear un método y un dispositivo, con los cuales puedan cortarse transversalmente también bandas de metal con grosores > 4 mm y/o bandas de metal de grados elevados de acero a través de una cizalla que se encuentra dispuesta después de un tren de laminación y después de una zona de refrigeración. Este objeto se alcanzará a través de un método, en donde la banda de metal (6) es refrigerada en la zona de refrigeración (10) a un perfil de temperatura predeterminado en la dirección longitudinal de la banda de metal (6), de manera que la banda de metal (6), en el área de la parte superior de la sección posterior de la banda de metal (31) y de la parte inferior de la sección anterior de la banda de metal (32), presenta una temperatura más elevada que en las áreas situadas aguas arriba y aguas abajo.
