Abstract

La invención se relaciona a un método para recuperación de metano a partir de corrientes de hidrocarburo que comprende las siguientes etapas: a. Introducir una corriente de fluido de alimentación (F), que comprende fluido de metano, por lo menos un fluido libre de hidrocarburo, en donde en particular el por lo menos un fluido libre de hidrocarburo es nitrógeno, y por lo menos un fluido de hidrocarburo, en un sistema desmetanizador (1); b. Separar la corriente de fluido de alimentación (F) en el sistema desmetanizador (1) en una fracción rica en carbono (C), que comprende hidrocarburos con un contenido de carbono de C2 y más alto, y una corriente de separación (S), que comprende fluido de metano y por lo menos un fluido libre de hidrocarburo; c. Introducir la corriente de separación (S) en un sistema de separación de fluido libre de hidrocarburo (2), en particular en un sistema de separación de fluido libre de hidrocarburo criogénico (2´), más particularmente en un sistema de rechazo de nitrógeno criogénico (2´´); en donde la corriente de separación (S) se comprime por un sistema de compresor (6) antes de que la corriente de separación (S) se introduzca en el sistema de separación de fluido libre de hidrocarburo (2), en donde la corriente de separación se comprime a una presión de 12 bar a 80 bar; d. Separar la corriente de separación (S) en el sistema de separación de fluido libre (2) en una corriente de metano (M) y una corriente de fluido libre de hidrocarburo (HF) y un sistema respectivo para recuperación de metano a partir de corrientes de hidroacarburo.
