Abstract
Una modalidad de fuente de exploración electromagnética: un cuerpo tubular que tiene una circunferencia; un núcleo ferromagnético que se adapta al cuerpo tubular y se extiende al menos a medio camino alrededor de la circunferencia para definir un espacio con polos espaciados de forma circunferencial; uno o más devanados de conducción de corriente alrededor del núcleo para inducir un campo magnético entre los polos; y una fuente de energía en el interior del pozo que activa el uno o más devanados de conducción de corriente. Una modalidad de un método incluye: equipar una primera sarta de perforación con dicha fuente de exploración electromagnética; extender un primer agujero con la primera sarta de perforación; ensamblar una segunda sarta de perforación con sensores; y perforar un segundo agujero mientras se utilizan dichos sensores para guiar la segunda sarta de perforación con respecto al primer agujero.
