Abstract

Se describen un dispositivo de transmisión de difusión y un método por el cual el dispositivo de transmisión de difusión procesa datos. El método por el cual el dispositivo de transmisión de difusión procesa datos, de acuerdo con una modalidad de la presente invención, comprende las etapas de: encapsular la información de alerta de emergencia como paquete de capa de enlace; codificar mediante corrección de errores los datos del paquete de capa de enlace en una capa física; construir una trama de señal que incluya los datos codificados por corrección de errores; y transmitir una señal de difusión que incluya la trama de señal construida, en donde el paquete de capa de enlace incluye un encabezado y una carga útil, el encabezado incluye información de encabezado para señalar la carga útil, la carga útil incluye la información de alerta de emergencia, y la información de encabezado incluye información de indicación que indica que el paquete de capa de enlace es un paquete para una alerta de emergencia e información de tipo que indica el tipo de información de alerta de emergencia.
