Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para producir una resina absorbente de agua, en donde la resina absorbente de agua tiene un rendimiento de absorción de agua superior incluyendo una alta capacidad de retención de agua, una alta capacidad de absorción de agua bajo una carga y una alta capacidad de absorción de agua con difusión vertical y tiene un contenido disminuido de monómeros residuales, y en donde la resina absorbente de agua es adecuada para un artículo absorbente; la presente invención también se refiere a una resina absorbente de agua que tiene un rendimiento específico y se produce por el procedimiento; la presente invención proporciona un procedimiento para producir una resina absorbente de agua, caracterizado por una polimerización en suspensión de fase inversa de un monómero etilénicamente insaturado soluble en agua se porta en un medio de dispersión de hidrocarburo que comprende un estabilizador de dispersión mientras un compuesto a base de azo y un peróxido se combinan en presencia de un agente de entrelazado interno, en donde las siguientes fórmulas se satisfacen, (1) 0.10 = B / (A + B) y (2) 0.055 = B + 9 x C = 0.120, en donde A molar, B molar y C molar representan cantidades utilizadas del compuesto a base de azo, el peróxido y el agente de entrelazado interno, respectivamente, con respecto al 100 molar del monómero etilénicamente insaturado soluble en agua utilizado en la polimerización, y en donde se lleva a cabo una reacción de post-entrelazado al agregar un agente de post-entrelazado después de la polimerización.
