Abstract

La presente invención proporciona una forma de dosificación de cápsula de liberación prolongada de succinato de metoprolol en la forma de unidades discretas recubiertas, en donde la forma de dosificación de cápsula es bioequivalente a la tableta Toprol-XL(1 comercializada. Por otra parte, la forma de dosificación de cápsula de liberación prolongada que comprende unidades discretas recubiertas se puede espolvorear sobre el alimento para facilidad de administración para pacientes quienes tienen dificultad para tragar tabletas o cápsulas, por ejemplo, pacientes pediátricos y geriátricos.
