Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso que comprende polimerizar un monómero de olefina en un reactor de bucle en la presencia de un catalizador y un diluyente, y producir una suspensión que comprende polímero de olefina particulado sólido y diluyente. El número Biot es mantenido en o por debajo de aproximadamente 3.0 dentro del reactor de bucle durante el proceso de polimerización.
