Abstract

Se proporciona un sistema y un método para adquirir datos por cables sísmicos marinos. Algunas modalidades pueden incluir realizar un levantamiento sísmico marino con una embarcación marina no tripulada que tenga una fuente de energía configurada para activar y proporcionar propulsión a la embarcación marina no tripulada. Algunas modalidades pueden incluir además adquirir datos de levantamientos sísmicos largos y/o ultralargos mediante el uso de un arreglo de sensores sísmicos de múltiples dimensiones conectado a la embarcación marina no tripulada y proporcionar los datos de levantamientos sísmicos como un conjunto de datos reducidos que incluya desplazamientos largos y ultralargos.
