Abstract
Procedimiento que opera en continuo para la hidrólisis térmica de materia orgánica y que comprende una etapa de impulsión en la que la materia orgánica se vehicula sin necesidad de utilizar bombas u otros elementos mecánicos, una etapa de hidrólisis en la que la masa a hidrolizar se calienta con vapor vivo hasta alcanzar temperaturas elevadas en tiempos muy cortos y tras sufrir una primera rotura de la estructura se mantiene a la temperatura de hidrólisis durante un tiempo prefijado y una etapa de recuperación de energía con vapores de dos niveles entálpicos. Una instalación para la puesta en práctica del procedimiento, que comprende en la etapa de impulsión depósitos de carga y presurización interconectados, en la etapa de hidrólisis un mezclador rápido y una cámara de alivio y en la etapa de recuperación de energía un sistema de descompresión con cámara de flash y un eyector que mezcla los vapores producidos.
