Abstract
Un (100) aparato de reconocimiento de señales de tráfico adquiere (11) los datos (D08) de imagen mediante la formación de imágenes de los alrededores de un vehículo, detecta (12) una posición propia del vehículo, y detecta, en la imagen, una señal de tráfico alrededor del vehículo. El aparato de reconocimiento de señales de tráfico identifica (23) dos o más de la señal de tráfico que se predice será capturada en la imagen, con base en la información (D05) sobre la posición propia y la información (D02) de mapa que contiene información posicional sobre las señales de tráfico, y asigna (24) un nivel de prioridad a cada una de las dos o más señales de tráfico así identificadas, con base en una posibilidad de que la señal de tráfico esté bloqueada de la vista. Cuando se identifican las dos o más señales de tráfico, la señal de tráfico detectada (15) en la imagen es una señal de tráfico con un nivel de prioridad más alto entre las dos o más señales de tráfico.
