Abstract

Se describen nuevas aleaciones de fundición de aluminio 7xx. Las aleaciones de fundición de aluminio incluyen, generalmente, de 3.0 a 8.0% en peso de Zn, de 1.0 a 3.0% en peso de Mg, en donde el% en peso de Zn es superior al% en peso de Mg, de 0.35 a 1.0% en peso de Cu, en donde el% en peso de Mg es superior al% en peso de Cu, de 0.05 a 0.30% en peso de V, de 0.01 a 1.0% en peso de al menos un elemento secundario (Mn, Cr, Zr, Ti, B y combinaciones de estos), hasta 0.50% en peso de Fe y hasta 0.25% en peso de Si, el resto que es aluminio y otros elementos, en donde la aleación de fundición de aluminio incluye no más de 0.05% en peso de cada uno de los otros elementos, y en donde la aleación de fundición de aluminio incluye no más de 0.15% en peso en total de los otros elementos.
