Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición de inhibidor de nitrificación mejorada y su uso en aplicaciones agrícolas. Compuestos de (triclorometil) piridina útiles en la composición de la presente invención incluyen compuestos que tienen un anillo de piridina que está sustituido con al menos un grupo triclorometilo y sales de ácidos minerales de los mismos. Los compuestos adecuados incluyen aquellos que contienen sustituyentes cloro o metilo en el anillo de piridina, además de un grupo triclorometilo, y son inclusive de productos de cloración de metil piridinas tales como lutidina, colidina y picolina.
