Abstract

Se describen sistemas y métodos para el fortalecimiento de pozos. Una manera efectiva para fortalecer un pozo e impedir futuras fracturas durante las operaciones de perforación es inducir fracturas que tienen un perfil de ancho de fractura deseado y una longitud de fractura. Se puede utilizar contrapresión superficial para inducir de manera exacta estas fracturas. Las fracturas inducidas que se sellan entonces para incrementar el gradiente de fractura del pozo, mitigando de esta manera las futuras fracturas.
