Abstract
Modalidades descritas en la presente se relacionan a métodos de ensayo y kits para detectar resistencia de cualquier enzima a su inhibidor debido a alteración funcional de la enzima, que comprende, conducir dos o más reacciones con dos o más mezclas de reactivo opcionalmente que contiene substratos para la enzima. Las mezclas son substancialmente similares, excepto que una no contiene inhibidor de enzima mientras que otras contienen un inhibidor de enzima que es probado para resistencia. La proporción de la señal a partir de la reacción con un inhibidor a aquella de una reacción sin inhibidor se usa para indicar si la enzima es resistente al inhibidor de enzima y también determina la susceptibilidad o resistencia de la enzima a varios inhibidores y además identifica variantes de enzima. Modalidades además se relacionan a métodos de ensayo que comprenden solamente dos reacciones- una conducida en una mezcla que contiene el inhibidor y la otra sin el inhibidor. Además se incluyen dispositivos para conducir los ensayos.
