Abstract
Un método de reducción retardada en el tiempo en el peso molecular de polímeros en un fluido viscoso y un método de ruptura retardada en el tiempo de fluidos viscosos por medio de tratamiento del fluido viscoso con una composición que reduce la viscosidad. La composición que reduce la viscosidad es formada de un compuesto de peroxígeno, un agente inhibidor de peroxígeno y un agente catalizador de peroxígeno, en donde la concentración relativa de los componentes determina la duración del intervalo de tiempo necesario para romper el fluido viscoso.
