Abstract

Una composición fotocatalítica a base de cemento, que comprende: (a) al menos un aglutinante de cemento; (b) al menos un fotocatalizador; (c) al menos un éter de celulosa; (d) al menos un agente fluidizante; (e) al menos un primer relleno calcáreo en forma de partículas de las cuales al menos el 95 % en peso tiene un tamaño que no supera los 100 µm; (f) al menos un segundo relleno calcáreo en forma de partículas de las cuales al menos el 95 % en peso tiene un tamaño que no supera los 30 µm; (g) al menos un silano que se apoya en un soporte inorgánico en forma de polvo. Tal composición puede emplearse como pintura al agua para obtener recubrimientos de pared con un espesor muy reducido, en particular para aplicaciones al aire libre, que asegura un efecto fotocatalítico elevado y estable con el transcurso del tiempo, incluso con cantidades relativamente bajas de fotocatalizador, que por lo general son menores que 10 % en peso, con resultados óptimos en cuanto a uniformidad del recubrimiento y resistencia de este a los agentes atmosféricos.
