Abstract

La invención se refiere a un dispositivo de disipación de energía (10) que puede disipar energía por medio de su deformación plástica axial sin sufrir pandeo. Es característico de la invención que el dispositivo de disipación de energía (10) comprende por lo menos tres elementos histeréticos (15), que están interconectados en serie de tal modo que dicho por lo menos un elemento histerético (15) será sometido a compresión mientras por lo menos otro elemento histerético (15) es sometido a tensión cuando se aplica una carga externa al dispositivo de disipación de energía (10).
