Abstract
De acuerdo con ciertos aspectos, un aparato para codificar información de video incluye una memoria y un procesador configurado para determinar si un primer elemento de sintaxis está presente en un flujo de bits, el primer elemento de sintaxis está asociado con un conjunto de parámetros de secuencia (SPS) y un primer indicador indicativo de si un identificador (ID) temporal de una imagen de referencia para las imágenes que se refiere al SPS se puede anidar; y en respuesta a la determinación de que el primer elemento de sintaxis no está presente en el flujo de bits: obtener un segundo elemento de sintaxis indicativo de un número máximo de sub-capas temporales en una capa particular de la pluralidad de capas; y determinar si establecer el primer indicador igual a un segundo indicador indicativo de si un ID temporal de una imagen de referencia para cualquiera de las imágenes se puede anidar con base al menos en parte en un valor del segundo elemento de sintaxis.
