Abstract
Se conocen motores de ciclo de diésel por tener mayor energía, torsión y eficiencia comparados con motores de ciclo Otto de desplazamiento similar. Cuando el combustible es un combustible gaseoso, tal como gas natural, normalmente se requiere un combustible piloto (tal como diésel) para ayudar con encendido en un motor de ciclo de Diésel con abastecimiento gaseoso. Sería ventajoso reducir el espacio de energía, torsión y eficiencia entre un motor de ciclo de Diésel y un motor de ciclo de Otto con abastecimiento gaseoso. Un aparato de combustión para un motor de combustión interna con abastecimiento gaseoso comprende una cámara de combustión definida por una perforación de cilindro, un cabezal de cilindro y un pistón que alterna dentro de la perforación de cilindro. Un diámetro de la perforación de cilindro es al menos 90 mm y una relación entre el diámetro y una longitud de carrera del pistón es máximo 0.95.
