Abstract
Las modalidades descritas incluyen un método, aparato y producto de programa informático para generar definición de facies. Una modalidad es un método implementado por computadora que incluye las etapas de recepción de datos de registro de pozo indicativos de una o más propiedades de formaciones geológicas en las que penetran uno o más pozos, en el que los datos de registro de pozo no incluyen conjeturas, determinación de un pozo tipo, el desarrollo de un ajuste a escala adecuado de datos de registro de pozo con base en el pozo tipo, creación de un conjunto de preparación mediante la extracción de muestras de los datos de registro de pozo a profundidades aleatorias, modificación del conjunto de preparación para eliminar datos que interfieren, puesta en práctica de un procedimiento de clasificación no supervisado en el conjunto de preparación para agrupar muestras en el conjunto de preparación, comparación de un juego de valores de los datos de registro de pozo en los grupos para clasificar litofacies del pozo tipo, desarrollo de funciones de clasificación y clasificación de pozos desconocidos con las funciones de clasificación para generar la definición de facies.
