Abstract
Una señal de luz codificada se integra en luz visible emitida desde la fuente de luz, para ser recibida por una cámara de obturador desplazable que captura cuadros (16) al exponer una pluralidad de líneas (18, 24) de cada cuadro en secuencia, la cámara tiene un tiempo de exposición con cada línea siendo expuesta durante el tiempo de exposición. La señal de luz codificada es formateada de acuerdo con un formato mediante el cual la señal de luz codificada comprende al menos un mensaje y el mensaje se repite varias veces con una sincronización tal que, cuando muestras de la señal de luz codificada se obtienen a partir de un número sustancialmente menor de líneas (24) que el expuesto por la cámara en cada cuadro y el mensaje es más largo que este número de líneas, una parte diferente del mensaje es vista por la cámara en cada uno de una pluralidad de los cuadros diferentes.
