Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método y sistema para tratar un fluido de contraflujo que sale de un sitio de perforación después de la estimulación de una formación subterránea. De manera más específica, la invención se refiere a procesar el fluido de contraflujo, y separarlo en una corriente rica en dióxido de carbono y una corriente agotada en dióxido de carbono, y continuar la separación hasta que la concentración de dióxido de carbono en la corriente de contraflujo hasta que la concentración de dióxido de carbono en el gas de contraflujo disminuya hasta un punto que se selecciona en el intervalo de aproximadamente 50-80% molar en la concentración de dióxido de carbono, después de lo cual la corriente de contraflujo de dióxido de carbono de concentración más baja continúa siendo separada en una corriente rica en dióxido de carbono la cual se envía al desecho o al quemador, y se forma una corriente rica en hidrocarburo.
