Abstract

Este alambre de acero para resortes contiene cantidades especificadas de C, Si, Mn, Cr, Al, Ca y Ti, y el resto comprende hierro e impurezas inevitables; tiene inclusiones de óxido que están presentes en una sección transversal paralela a la dirección longitudinal del resorte de alambre y tiene ejes menores de al menos 1 µm, y que contienen cantidades específicas de CaO, Al2O3, SiO2, MgO, MnO y TiO2. El alambre de acero para resortes satisface: CaO + Al2O3 + SiO2 + MgO + MnO + TiO2 = 80%, y la cantidad de inclusiones de óxido que tienen un eje menor de 2 µm o más, presentes en la sección transversal, excede 0.002/mm2.
