Abstract
La presente invención se dirige al problema de minimizar la ruptura debido al agrietamiento asociado con una región de suavizado de HAZ durante la soldadura de solapa por láser generalmente circular como un sustituto para soldadura por puntos de resistencia, con el fin de solapar una pluralidad de láminas de acero que incluyen placas de acero de alta resistencia. Se descubrió que se resolvió el problema por un método de soldadura de solapado para solapar una pluralidad de placas de acero y que forma una porción soldada por láser generalmente circular (1), en donde ocurre el agrietamiento asociado con una región de suavizado de HAZ se minimiza a través de irradiación con un láser en un patrón lineal que pasa a través del borde externo de la porción soldada por láser generalmente circular (1), que forma una porción de extinción (8) en las placas de acero.
