Abstract

En un aparato de calentamiento caldeado por combustible se instala un ensamble de quemador especialmente diseñado, operativo para recibir y quemar un flujo premezclado de combustible y aire para crear a partir del mismo una pluralidad separada de llamas que se alinean con y fluyen directamente en las entradas de una pluralidad separada correspondiente de tubos de intercambiador de calor. Las llamas crean dentro de los tubos gases de combustión calientes que transfieren calor de combustión a un fluido de suministro que se hace fluir externamente a través de los tubos. Los quemadores son de una construcción metálica perforada hueca, se montan en y se proyectan hacia delante desde una estructura de soporte hacia las entradas de tubo, y tienen extremos de entrada abiertos orientados hacia atrás que reciben el flujo premezclado de combustible y aire. Mediante una estructura de arrastre de llama, un encendedor simple se utiliza para encender todos los quemadores.
