Abstract

En un vehículo con una transmisión (4) automática, un motor de combustión interna se provee con un mecanismo de relación de compresión variable. Una relación tCR de compresión objetivo del mecanismo de relación de compresión variable se determina con referencia a un mapa de relación de compresión en el cual el valor de la relación de compresión objetivo se ha definido previamente utilizando una carga tT de demanda y una velocidad Ne de rotación del motor de combustión interna como parámetros. Un mapa de relación de compresión de accionamiento de marcha hacia atrás se selecciona cuando la transmisión automática está en una posición de accionamiento de marcha hacia atrás; un primer mapa de relación de compresión se selecciona cuando una relación RR de reducción de velocidad real de la transmisión es baja; y un segundo mapa de relación de compresión se selecciona cuando la relación RR de reducción de velocidad real de la transmisión es baja (S3 a S7). Un rango de control variable de la relación de compresión es más estrecho en el segundo mapa de relación de compresión para la relación de reducción de velocidad alta que en el primer mapa de relación de compresión y es más estrecho en el mapa de relación de compresión de accionamiento de marcha hacia atrás que en los primer y segundo mapas de relación de compresión. Mediante este control de la relación de compresión, es posible suprimir la ocurrencia de un cambio de momento de torsión no pretendido debido a los cambios de la relación de compresión cuando la relación de reducción de velocidad es alta.
