Abstract
Un sistema para evaluar un sensor de presión de un asiento incluye un dispositivo de carga y un procesador. El dispositivo de carga aplica, de manera desmontable, peso al asiento. El procesador recibe una medición de una compensación de presión previa a la instalación de una cámara del sensor de presión que se midió antes de la instalación del montaje de detección de presión en el asiento. El procesador está programado para recibir una medición ponderada del sensor de presión en el asiento cuando el dispositivo de carga aplica peso al asiento y una medición de asiento vacío del sensor de presión en el asiento cuando el dispositivo de carga no aplica peso al asiento. El procesador determina un valor umbral restando la medición de asiento vacío a la medición ponderada. El procesador determina un valor de compensación de presión del asiento restando el valor de compensación de presión previa a la instalación al valor umbral. El procesador compara el valor de compensación de presión del asiento con un rango seleccionado.
