Abstract
La invención se refiere a una novedosa cal hidráulica puzolánica de alta resistencia, a base de una mezcla de cal hidratada cálcica y/o dolomítica, puzolana natural, cemento hidráulico y aditivos. Particularmente, la cal hidráulica puzolánica de alta resistencia es utilizada en morteros de albañilería, morteros para uso estructural y concreto. Particularmente, es una cal hidráulica puzolánica de alta resistencia a la compresión que comprende: De 40 a 60 % de cal hidratada cálcica y/o dolomítica, de 5 a 10 % de una puzolana natural, de 30 a 50 % de un cemento hidráulico, de 0.10 a 1.0 % de un retardante y de 0.1 a 1.0 % de un dispersante. Adicionalmente, la cal hidráulica puzolánica de alta resistencia desarrolla sus propiedades de resistencia a la compresión, mediante una reacción combinada de hidratación y carbonatación. La cal hidráulica puzolánica de alta resistencia de la presente invención puede ser utilizada para la elaboración de morteros para albañilería y morteros para uso estructural con una baja huella de carbono para aplanados y recubrimientos de muros y paredes, pegado de block, tabicón, mamposterías, etc. Adicionalmente, la cal hidráulica puzolánica de alta resistencia también puede ser utilizada para la elaboración de concretos con una baja huella de carbono y resistencias a la compresión =250 kg/cm2, apropiados para la elaboración de pisos, losas, muros, etc. Concretos con resistencias =350 kg/cm2 apropiados para la conexión de elementos prefabricados de uso estructural, prefabricación de tubería para agua y drenaje. Concretos con resistencias =450 kg/cm2 apropiados para la prefabricación de elementos de refuerzo estructural, tanques, cisternas, etc.
