Abstract
Un método para tratar a un paciente que tiene una afección pulmonar que incluye identificar un nivel de hemoglobina-monóxido de carbono objetivo en la sangre del paciente. El método también incluye la administración al paciente de monóxido de carbono en una primera concentración durante un período de tiempo inicial y medir el nivel de hemoglobina-monóxido de carbono en la sangre del paciente.
