Abstract
La protección contra el desgaste lateral conforme a la invención para el cilindro de una prensa de cilindros consta de varios elementos de protección contra el desgaste lateral que abarcan el borde de cilindros. Los elementos de protección contra el desgaste lateral tienen conforme a la invención un cuerpo de base de material resistente elástico. Además, el cuerpo de base tiene un perno roscado en el lado del cuerpo base que va dirigido hacia el eje del cilindro. De preferencia, los cuerpos duros están montados en el lado superior y en la cara delantera del cuerpo de base. Los cuerpos duros están fabricados preferentemente de metal duro o una aleación de hierro de alta resistencia (IFW), por ejemplo, FeCrMoVC. En forma ventajosa, se puede reducir considerablemente el volumen del metal duro que se necesita, lo que igualmente representa un ahorro significativo en materia de costos. No hay que temer que se presenten problemas de ajuste al instalar los cuerpos duros, como los que suscitan en el estado actual de la técnica. Asimismo, se puede desmontar sin problemas la protección contra el desgaste lateral aflojando la unión mediante tornillos, pudiéndose omitir el calentamiento de la unión mediante pegado que antes era necesaria. De manera ventajosa, la función de retención de los elementos de protección contra el desgaste lateral está asegurada por el cuerpo de base hecho de material elástico, lo que reduce en forma considerable el riesgo de rotura.
