Abstract
Se muestra un método para fabricar un tubo de perforación direccional horizontal que tiene extremos de tubo recalcados internamente y externamente. La forja se realiza calentando los extremos de tubos verdes y aplicando presión utilizando una prensa de forja hidráulica de dado cerrado para formar los recalcados. Un extremo de un tubo de acero es trabajado mediante recalcado y prensado para formar una porción recalcada externa que tiene un estrechamiento exterior estando formado mediante forja por recalcado. Esa porción entonces es presionada por un dado de recalcado interno a modo de desplazar el estrechamiento exterior a una porción recalcada interna que tiene un estrechamiento interior. Entonces se efectúa forja por recalcado interno mediante un dado de recalcado interno para producir la parte terminada. El proceso permite al fabricante producir un tubo de perforación direccional horizontal recalcado más grueso, en donde la relación del diámetro exterior al diámetro interior del recalcado puede ser en el orden de 3.5, o incluso mayor.
