Abstract
La presente divulgación proporciona un dispositivo para generar energía eléctrica. El dispositivo comprende un panel que es al menos parcialmente transmisivo para la luz visible. El panel tiene una superficie receptora para recibir la luz incidente, y está dispuesto de manera que una porción de la luz incidente se redirige hacia las regiones que están en los bordes o porciones laterales del panel. El dispositivo comprende además una pluralidad de elementos fotovoltaicos situados en o en la cercanía de los bordes o porciones laterales del panel. Cada uno de la pluralidad de elementos fotovoltaicos está conectado eléctricamente en paralelo a otro de la pluralidad de elementos fotovoltaicos y el dispositivo está dispuesto para generar electricidad a partir de al menos una porción de la luz incidente redirigida.
