Abstract

Imágenes almacenadas en un repositorio de información se preparan para exploración. Para cada una de las imágenes en el repositorio, se explora texto en el repositorio para extraer recortes de texto acerca de la imagen que son semánticamente relevantes a la imagen, y para cada uno de estos recortes de texto, se detectan términos clave en el recorte de texto que representan ya sea conceptos que se relacionan con la imagen o entidades que se relacionan con la imagen, y el recorte de texto y los términos clave se asocian con la imagen. Cada término clave que se asocia con cada imagen en el repositorio se enlaza con hipervínculo a cada una de las otras imágenes en el repositorio que tienen este término clave asociado con las mismas. Una interfaz gráfica de usuario permite que un usuario explore las imágenes en el repositorio al utilizar sus recortes de texto asociados y términos clave con hipervínculo.
