Abstract
En la presente se describen métodos de tratamiento y fluidos de tratamiento para aumentar la permeabilidad de formaciones de esquisto orgánico. El método de tratamiento incluye tratar una formación de esquisto orgánico con un fluido de tratamiento. El fluido de tratamiento incluye un solvente que disuelve el bitumen de la formación de esquisto. Luego de tratar la formación de esquisto con el fluido de tratamiento, se extrae petróleo de dicha formación de esquisto. Al retirar el bitumen de los poros y las gargantas de los poros en la formación, el solvente aumenta la permeabilidad de la formación y permite que el petróleo móvil fluya con mayor facilidad a través de la formación.
