Abstract
Un método para fabricar una malla quirúrgica ligera que tiene los pasos de aplicar un primer conjunto de filamentos en una dirección de la primera columna y formar una primera serie de bucles en cada uno de una pluralidad de cursos. Aplicar un segundo conjunto de filamentos en la dirección de la primera columna y formar una segunda serie de bucles de una primera columna adyacente hacia la dirección de la primera columna y una tercera serie de bucles en una segunda columna adyacente opuesto a la primera columna adyacente a lo largo de la pluralidad de cursos. Además, aplicar un tercer conjunto de filamentos en la dirección de la primera columna de manera tal que la segunda serie de bucles se forme en la segunda columna adyacente y la tercera serie de bucles se formen en la primera columna adyacente a lo largo de la pluralidad de cursos. Además, aplicar un cuarto conjunto de filamentos que se entrelazan reiteradamente con el primer conjunto de filamentos a lo largo de la dirección de la primera columna.
