Abstract
Una máquina de pistones que incluye: un eje cigüeñal; un cilindro que define una cámara interna; un pistón colocado en la cámara, estando el pistón conectado al eje de cigüeñal y configurándose para oscilar dentro de la cámara; una culata unida al cilindro y que cierra la cámara en un extremo opuesto al pistón. La culata incluye al menos un grupo de puertos que incluye puestos para permitir la comunicación de fluido entre la cámara y un distribuidor respectivo; y, para cada grupo de puestos, un conjunto de válvulas acopladas a la culata, incluyendo cada conjunto de válvulas, una válvula para controlar operativamente el flujo de fluido a través del puerto respectivo y un puente acoplado a las válvulas, en donde el movimiento del puente en relación a la culata causa la operación sincronizada de las válvulas; y un accionador para hacer que el puente se mueva en base a la oscilación del pistón.
