Abstract

Métodos y sistemas para monitorear la pérdida de material en un entorno de fondo del pozo que surgen de la corrosión y/o erosión que incluyen colocar un sensor de fondo del pozo en un agujero. La resistencia del sensor de fondo del pozo se mide usando una técnica de resistencia de cuatro sondas en la cual se proporciona una fuente de energía en dos electrodos del sensor de fondo del pozo y el voltaje se mide en dos tomas de voltaje. Un aumento en el voltaje con el transcurso del tiempo indica la pérdida de material conductor en el sensor de fondo del pozo. El material conductor en el sensor de fondo del pozo puede formarse para proporcionar aumentos de voltaje discretos para mejorar la confiabilidad de la pérdida de material y/o la velocidad de las mediciones de resistencia de pérdida de material.
