Abstract
Se proporciona un pigmento de vanadato de bismuto, dicho pigmento está dopado con una combinación de Mg, Al y P, y en forma opcional un elemento E, en el que las relaciones molares de Bi, V, Mg, Al, P y E corresponden a una fórmula Bi Mga Alb Ec Vd Pe Of (I) en la que E se selecciona entre el grupo que consiste en Be, Ca, Sr, Ba, Zr, Mo, Ce y una combinación de los mismos; 0,001 = a = 0,2; 0,001 = b = 0,2; 0 = c = 1,7; 0,5 = d = 2,3; 0,001 = e = 0,5; y f denota el número de átomos de oxígeno para satisfacer los requisitos de valencia de los cationes. El pigmento se puede utilizar como colorante en diversas aplicaciones, en especial en la coloración de material orgánico de alto peso molecular, por ejemplo, composiciones de recubrimiento, pinturas, tintas de impresión, tintas líquidas, plásticos, películas, fibras, o esmaltes para cerámica o vidrio.
