Abstract
Se describen sistemas y métodos para automatizar la perforación de fondo de pozo con base en el perfil y la energía del pozo que se perfora. Un método incluye introducir a mayor profundidad un arreglo de fondo de pozo (BHA) en una formación subterránea y así formar un pozo a lo largo de una vía de pozo real, en el que el BHA incluye un módulo controlador, uno o más sensores y un montaje de direccionamiento, tomar medidas con los sensores en dos o más estaciones de muestreo a lo largo de la trayectoria de pozo real, comparar las medidas de muestreo con datos correspondientes a una vía de pozo planificada, determinar con el módulo controlador una vía de retorno con base en energía mínima de la vía de pozo real cuando la vía de pozo real se desvía de la vía de pozo planificada y transmitir una señal de comando correctivo al montaje de direccionamiento para reorientar una trayectoria de la vía de pozo real de forma que regrese a la vía de pozo planificada.
