Abstract

La invención describe un sistema de transporte de palets que comprende un primer extremo por el que puede acceder un operario; un segundo extremo opuesto; un transportador inferior; una base inferior dispuesta sobre dicho transportador inferior para desplazarse entre el primer y el segundo extremo, adecuada para colocar sobre ella un palet inferior; y una pluralidad de puestos de mecanizado situados en los laterales del transportador inferior. El sistema también comprende una base superior; medios de transporte elevado para transportar la base superior entre el primer extremo y el segundo extremo, así como entre una posición alta y una posición baja, estando la posición baja al mismo nivel que la base inferior; y una unidad de control para controlar el desplazamiento de las bases inferior y superior, y el funcionamiento de máquinas de mecanizado situadas en dichos puestos de mecanizado. La invención también describe un procedimiento de transporte de palets.
