Abstract
Los sistemas quirúrgicos periféricos se utilizan para la inserción y rellenado de los lentes intraoculares rellenos de fluido, reaccediendo y modificando los lentes intraoculares rellenos de fluido, y la explantación de los lentes. Aunque una unidad quirúrgica periférica puede realizar todas estas funciones, en algunas modalidades diferentes unidades realizan diferentes funciones, es decir, cada función se puede realizar por una unidad separada, o las funciones se pueden distribuir sobre un número pequeño de unidades funcionales.
