Abstract

Una composición no nematicida comprende al menos un glucano y/o al menos un fucano, el cual actúa individual o sinérgicamente con manitol para reducir las pérdidas en rendimiento de cosecha y grado comercializable provocado por la infestación de medio de crecimiento con nematodos patogénicos de plantas, a niveles equivalentes a aquéllos logrados con nematicidas comerciales, pero sin poner un riesgo al ecosistema o usuario. En algunos casos, la composición comprende al menos un glucano, al menos un fucano y al menos un manitol, el cual puede estar en una proporción peso/peso de aproximadamente 1:2:3 de al menos un glucano : al menos un fucano : al menos un manitol o entre aproximadamente 1:1:1 a 1:1:3 de al menos un glucano : al menos un fucano : al menos un manitol.
