Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con una composición de recubrimiento de resina alquídica acuosa, que comprende (a) por lo menos una resina alquídica como una fase dispersa; (b) un emulsificante a base de fenoles estirenados que se han convertido en tensioactivos reactivos por una primera reacción con uno o más equivalentes de un alil glicidil éter para proporcionar grupos alilo colgantes, y luego oxialquilados y (c) agua. La invención también proporciona un método para preparar estas composiciones de recubrimiento de resma alquídica acuosa de composiciones alquídicas transportadas por solventes.
