Abstract
Se proporcionan un artículo balístico duro y un método para fabricar dicho artículo; el artículo balístico duro comprende un panel híbrido, en donde el panel híbrido comprende a) un primer paquete de una pluralidad de telas cruzadas consolidadas, en donde cada tela cruzada consolidada contiene por lo menos dos capas de fibras de aramida alineadas unidireccionales, en donde las fibras de aramida están provistas de un primer material de matriz, en donde el primer material de matriz comprende un primer polímero, en donde el primer paquete exhibe una superficie que está de cara a la dirección de un ataque balístico y una superficie que está de cara hacia fuera de la dirección del ataque balístico, y b) un segundo paquete que contiene una pluralidad de capas de tela tejida, en donde las capas de tela tejidas consisten de fibras de aramida provistas de un segundo material de matriz, en donde el segundo material de matriz es diferente del primer material de matriz, en donde el segundo material de matriz comprende un segundo polímero, en donde el segundo polímero es diferente del primer polímero, y en donde el primer paquete está unido con su superficie que está de cara hacia fuera de la dirección del ataque balístico con el segundo paquete.
