Abstract
1. Un proceso de recuperación de betún donde el proceso incluye las siguientes etapas: a) Perforar un solo pozo en un depósito de betún; b) Equipar el pozo con un elemento de calentamiento, un miembro de inyección de solvente, y un miembro de recuperación de betún; c) Inyectar el pozo con un solvente; d) Calentar el solvente con el elemento de calentamiento a un estado de vapor; e) Mezclar el vapor de solvente con betún en el depósito; f) Drenar el betún hasta la parte inferior del pozo; g) Calentar el betún para mantener su viscosidad baja; h) Evaporar parte del solvente atrapado en el betún por el elemento de calentamiento; i) Recuperar el betún y trazas de agua del pozo; j) Condensar el solvente dentro del pozo para mezclarse adicionalmente con el betún en el depósito; k) Repetir las etapas h a j, donde la mayoría del solvente no deja el pozo durante el proceso.
