Abstract

La invención se refiere a un artículo (1) absorbente tal como una toalla sanitaria o toalla para incontinencia que tiene bordes laterales longitudinales y bordes extremos transversales y que comprende una hoja superior (8) permeable al fluido, una hoja posterior (9) impermeable al fluido y un núcleo (10) absorbente ubicado entre la hoja superior (8) y la hoja posterior (9). El núcleo (10) absorbente comprende una primera capa (11) absorbente que tiene una abertura (12) que se extiende a través de la misma y una estructura (13) de control de flujo de fluido ubicada entre la primera capa (11) absorbente y la hoja posterior (9). La primera capa (11) absorbente tiene una porción (6) frontal longitudinal y una porción (7) posterior longitudinal y una transición (14) transversal estrecha ubicada entre la porción (6) frontal y la porción (7) posterior. El ancho de la transición (14) transversal estrecha es de 50-75% del ancho transversal más ancho de la porción (6) frontal de la primera capa (11) absorbente y 20-50% del tramo longitudinal de la abertura (12) se ubica en la porción (6) frontal de la primera capa (11) absorbente.
