Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para la separación de componente en un sistema de producción de polímero, que comprende separar una corriente de producto de polimerización en una corriente de gas y una corriente de polímero, en donde la corriente de gas comprende etano y etileno sin reaccionar, destilar la corriente de gas en una corriente de hidrocarburo ligero, en donde la corriente de hidrocarburo ligero comprende etano y etileno sin reaccionar, poner en contacto la corriente de hidrocarburo ligero con un sistema de solvente de absorción, en donde al menos una porción del etileno sin reaccionar a partir de la corriente de hidrocarburo ligero es absorbida por el sistema de solvente de adsorción, y recuperar una corriente de gas residual a partir del sistema de solvente de adsorción, en donde la corriente de gas residual comprende etano, hidrógeno, o combinaciones de los mismos.
