Abstract
Un método para producir una mullita percolada en un cuerpo de material, incluyendo el método la etapa para calentar el cuerpo de material, en donde el cuerpo de material tiene una composición que incluye alúmina sílice, y la proporción en peso de alúmina : sílice es desde aproximadamente 10:90 hasta aproximadamente 77:23. La mullita percolada producida se extiende continua y/o sustancialmente a través de todo el cuerpo del material.
