Abstract
La presente tecnología se relaciona con un aparato de reproducción, un método de reproducción, y un programa capaz de proporcionar un programa de aplicación que se ejecuta junto con el contenido proporcionado por un servicio de VOD. Una unidad de análisis adquiere y analiza un meta archivo de control de reproducción para controlar la reproducción de contenido de difusión; una unidad de procesamiento de reproducción de transmisión continua, de acuerdo con los resultados de análisis del meta archivo de control de reproducción, realiza reproducción de transmisión continua del contenido de difusión; y una unidad de control, de acuerdo con información relacionada con una aplicación de uso de VOD descrita en el meta archivo de control de reproducción, controla un motor de aplicación para controlar la operación de la aplicación de uso de VOD que se ejecuta junto con el contenido de difusión que se reproduce. La tecnología actual, por ejemplo, puede aplicarse a un receptor de televisión digital que recibe una señal de difusión de televisión digital.
